Enough for one use — that is the manufacturers’ own wording, and it is the specification that saves a morning when the tool is flat.
Published on this site: five minutes for one shave on the Braun Series 3+, the Philips S5465 and the Philips S7887; three minutes on the Panasonic ES-ALT4B and ES-LV67.
It is a more useful figure than total runtime, because the failure mode it addresses is the one that actually happens.
Not every tool has one. The entry Philips rotaries publish neither a runtime nor a charge time, and the Remington MB5000 publishes a two-hour full charge with no quick option.
Where a tool also runs plugged in, the quick charge matters less — the machine simply works plugged in.
Check your own manual before you follow anything here. Temperatures, water ratings and supply voltages differ from model to model, and the maker’s own figures take precedence over anything written on this site. A supply of the wrong voltage is a failure rather than a slow charge, and the figure is printed on the tool — not inferred from a connector that happens to fit.
