It is a documentation policy rather than a performance difference: Braun publishes no full charge time on any of its eight products here, while Philips and Panasonic publish one hour on five of theirs.
Why a company chooses that is not published anywhere, and this page will not invent a motive. What can be said is that the pattern is far too consistent to be an accident, and that it is checkable.
Braun publishes runtimes — 45, 80, 100, 120 and 180 minutes across its range here — and a five-minute quick charge on the Series 3+ shaver. It does not publish a full charge time anywhere.
Philips publishes one hour to a full charge on the HC7650 clipper and on both its mid and top rotary shavers. Panasonic publishes one hour on two shavers and a three-minute quick charge.
Where the figure is missing, our pages leave the field empty rather than estimating it from another model in the same range.
That is a documentation difference rather than a performance one, and it is reported as such.
Check your own manual before you follow anything here. Temperatures, water ratings and supply voltages differ from model to model, and the maker’s own figures take precedence over anything written on this site. A supply of the wrong voltage is a failure rather than a slow charge, and the figure is printed on the tool — not inferred from a connector that happens to fit.
