The guard range is the argument. Three to forty millimeters in ten steps covers everything from a short back and sides to a full length trim, and the separate blade adjustment reaches below where the guards start.
What the listing does not give is an IP rating. Remington describes the blades as self-sharpening ceramic, which is a claim about the cutting edges rather than about washing, so this page cannot tell you whether the head goes under a tap. The manual for your unit can.

It changes the blade position itself rather than the distance a guard holds. Guards on this model start at 3 mm (0.12 in), so the shortest lengths — the ones used at the neckline and around the ears — are reached by moving the blade, not by fitting a smaller comb.
Remington describes the blades as self-sharpening; it does not say that they need no oil. Self-sharpening describes how the cutting edges wear against each other, which is a separate question from friction. The manual that comes with the machine is the authority on its maintenance schedule.
