Beurer

Separate left and right barrels, a brushless motor, and the glove in the box

Beurer appears once on this site, with the Iconic Pro 5-in-1 air styler.

What we found writing the reviews

Separate left- and right-turning barrels. The specification that decides whether both sides of a head can be curled the same way, and Beurer supplies both.

A brushless 1500 W motor. Beurer names the motor type on its listing rather than leaving it to be inferred from the wattage — what is a brushless motor worth says what that does and does not tell you.

A self-clean button. Air stylers draw air through a mesh that fills with hair and dust, and a clogged filter reduces the very airflow the tool exists to produce. Beurer states a button that cleans that filter.

A heat-resistant glove and a storage bag are included. The glove protects the hand holding the section against a hot barrel; the bag holds the five attachments.

150 mm (5.9 in) barrels, stated by Beurer for long hair.

The gap: no airflow figure and no temperature in degrees. Three settings of each, and the wattage. The Dyson Airwrap Origin in the same family publishes motor speed, pressure and heat sampling rate. All of them are compared in the air stylers category and the air styler guide.
